I grew up in McLean, VA with three brothers, two sisters and a golden retriever named Brady. Our family was big into sports, especially Ice Hockey. Five of the six kids played in college (my two sisters played D1 NCAA). Outside of hockey I played baseball, football, and lacrosse growing up. Today, to stay in shape, I'm still playing sports but limit it to flag football, mens league hockey, golf, pickup basketball and pickleball. Sports taught me a lot - a strong work ethic, teamwork, leadership and persistence. All traits that I've found valuable in everyday life.
My parents house backs up to miles of woods with trails and a creek running through it. Since I can remember, most of my days consisted of biking, swimming, fishing and building forts in those woods. It was there I developed my passion for the outdoors and was the cornerstone of my dedication to conservation. I love the outdoors and am extremely passionate about sustainability and climate change. Every year, a friend and I take a few garbage bags and pickup trash in the woods and it is sad how much trash we pickup after a few hours.
If work at Capital One Bank as a Senior Associate and am very proud to work there. I think C1 is a great company with amazing leadership. I've learned a ton in the 2.5 years I've been with the company but it's not my passion. What excites me most is the development of new technologies. I admire all those entrepreneurs who are able to create products/technologies from nothing that people love and use daily. My mission is to build a product that can be enjoyed by many.
I have a license to operate almost every method of transportation - car, boat, motorcycle and remote pilots license. If you're wondering, remote pilots license gives you the ability to fly a drone, not a real plane. Although a real pilots license is next on my list!
